I love this thing; It is very easy to use and has saved me HOURS of work. There are some downsides: It's not the best for small beads as it leaves some space between the bead and the loop and if you try to close the gap by holding the bead right on the edge of the loop mechanism it will splinter or crack , if the pearl is glass, it will crush the pearl completely. If you're using pre-made head/eye pins, I recommend using longer ones - at least 1 1/2 inches - as they're easier to thread through the mechanism and you'll get more consistent results. It's also recommended to wear eye protection when using it, as cut wire has a tendency to fly off (this isn't as much of a problem with smaller gauge wire). And (as with any product) be prepared to spend some time learning how to use it before you can quickly complete bead projects. So why am I giving 5 stars? Because it's just good. Once you learn how to use it, you'll easily get consistent results that look great, and you won't kill yourself in the process! Construction quality, spring is good. It pays for itself in the time and energy saved; I would definitely buy it again.
