I use these lights when the power goes out here. I use car batteries that I keep at home during the winter to illuminate a small light grid in the garage, hallways and areas around the house. I have a few switches and fuses where needed. When the power goes out these lights are pretty bright and with the flick of a switch we can see what we need to see. The places I install them are unfinished surfaces and they don't need to be fancy, which makes installation easy and quick.
