Well to be honest this is a VERY well made cable. And I would give them all 5 stars if it wasn't for a feature. "Nylon" isn't one of those soft nylons that feels like fabric. It is a VERY tough nylon that feels and behaves almost like metal. On the one hand, this makes the cable extremely durable. On the other hand, it's not very plastic. Another annoying part of this weave is that you have to be prepared to hear a lot of grinding noise when you plug your headphones into it. Not from a sound source, but from a hard braided cable that claws at everything: a table, other devices, your own skin or clothing. it's LOUD and you can't stop it. :(But the sound quality is much better (if you don't touch the cable).
