Review on 🎧 Black Perforated Brainwavz Replacement Earpads with Memory Foam for Sony MDR 7506, V6 & CD900ST and Other On-Ear Headphones by Michael Tran

I never thought of getting the ear pads in any other color than the black my MDR-7506 came with, but as soon as I saw them I thought, that they look pretty cool and I could use some new pads so why not? In truth, they look spectacular. Against the matte black background of the headphones, they really stand out. It should really help because where I work (radio) almost everyone has the same headphones and everyone always uses mine and I keep telling them not to. had not. Now they no longer have that excuse. I read at least one review that claimed the ear pads made his headphones noticeably better. I certainly couldn't tell any difference in sound quality and can't imagine why they noticed as the previous pair I had were already good. Noise isolation is about the same as the pads that come with Sony (they're the ONLY thing in the 7506 that's below average). They cover the entire ear, which helps isolate sound quite well. The feel-good factor is about the same as regular cans when you buy them brand new. They're comfortable anyway, so changing them would be a big mistake. Memory foam makes a difference, especially when you have to wear your headphones for long periods of time (like I do when I'm on live TV for 4 hours straight). I'm not sure I would say they're particularly comfortable, but they work really well for long listening sessions with no issues. The installation is very easy. I hate to admit it, but I had no idea the ear pads could even be replaced until I'd been wearing headphones for almost 5 years. I immediately bought a new pair and installed them straight away. They don't look easily interchangeable, but that's because of how well they're designed. I have to say that replacing previously meant things ran smoother this time. If you're interested, there are instruction videos on YouTube that show you step-by-step how to do it with Sony in particular, so you're less likely to run into problems. Trust me, if I can do it, so can you. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and will probably go for Aqua colors next time (if they don't come out with more colors by then). Excellent purchase!
