These shelves come with terrible instructions but I found a way to easily install the brackets so they can be hidden without measuring. First install the brackets upside down on the shelf • Lay the corner shelf upside down on a table or bench and place the brackets face up into the inserts. • Then bring it to the corner with the staples attached and use the staples hanging from below to mark the holes. Note that the shelf is about 3/4 inch lower when installed after the brackets are reversed (measure if you need exact height placement, I didn't). • Remove the brackets from the shelf and place them in the corner at the marked location. Holes with an edge at the bottom. • If you did it right, you should just install the shelf. The bonus is that your bottom holes have already started. I didn't use drywall anchors. I was just trying not to overtighten. and unscrew the screws, they are not tight, but they usually hold for a small shelf.
