Review on Renewed beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro Black – Enhanced DT1990 Version (Renewed) by Felicja Krajewska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

Here is my subjective cost estimate of sound based on open models with which I am well acquainted: 1. Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro is currently my favorite of the available ones, so we take its market price of 60as a starting point. (although throwing out the case and additional ear pads - we get an objective 50 thousand). 2. Beyerdynamic DT 990 (250 Ohm) - number two on the list - I hear for 35 and despite the fact that they are sold for 14,000, comments are superfluous. 3. Sennheiser HD 650 - "golden mean", it is the golden mean. But high and low - like bronze and aluminum, respectively. Also dry in sound, like the favorite. With whistles like FiiO k3 they will sing, but not very loudly. I estimate the sound at 25 in stores they cost about the same. The best choice for the pragmatist. 4. Sennheiser HD 599 - there is a mid-frequency range, a little bit of bass. And that’s what they put in and it sounds good, and what you don’t, you won’t hear. The most comfortable of all and the most ventilated. For the sound I give 8 (sell for 10). I’ll tell you about Amiron Home separately. It was not possible to compare them head-on, but a general conclusion can be made. The Amitons are more comfortable on the top of the head, weaker in the side clamp, besides they are more musical, i. E. not as "dry" as the DT1990 Pro. I will say tritely, but these two models have a clear target orientation. Don't listen, like me, to people who say the DT1990 Pro will "beat" the Amiron or vice versa. They are simply different - for games, cinema and music - Amiron, for the studio and isolating the creak of a violinist's chair in HI-RES recordings - DT1990 Pro. Both models are very detailed in sound, but it is these details that they finish in different ways. The same chair creak on the DT1990 - it will be heard so that you do not miss it, but on the Amiron - it will be distinguishable so that you have no doubt that these are also excellent headphones. Enjoy the shopping!

Pros
  • There are things that, when you take it in your hands, you understand that this is a THING (expensive, textured, reliable). This is exactly how the Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro feels. There are very few of these products on the market today. Sound and everything else is subjective. Personally, I fell in love with Beyerdynamic's proprietary sound delivery, so this item is on the merits.
Cons
  • The price to pay for feeling the THING is comfort. The metal has a lot of weight, so you can’t forget that these headphones won’t work on your head. These ears NEED a good DESK amp! (whistles like FiiO K3, Creative Super X-Fi Amp and the like will NOT work) Price, but again, what to compare with (more on that in the comments).
