I'll start by saying I'm a 20 year old college student who has never built anything in my life and had no trouble putting this table together. All you need is a screwdriver. I don't know why people say you need a drill lol if I can screw it together anyone can! Mine arrived with no scratches or damage. The box is just a box with no sliders, but for the price no one would expect all that extra stuff.
