Unusual radio. Best in Radios
FM and AM sensitivity is pretty good in my area and I like the range of battery types. (I chose AA batteries.) Shortwave performance is satisfactory, but improves significantly when a loop antenna is connected to the built-in spike. This radio does not operate in the 31 meter shortwave band (9.5-9.90 MHz). The instructions are printed on the box. Just read them. The controls and functions of the radio are intuitive. The operation of the tuning pointer is smooth.
