Review on 💡 Torchstar E-Star Series 3-Inch Slim LED Recessed Lights with J-Box – Industrial Electrical by David Plunkett

The only comment I have is that the junction box only has 1/2 KO on each side and only 3/8 KO on the end. The typical strain relief connector here is rated at 3/8Nm and is used in 1/2KO. Since they are only located on the side, this condition creates a problem when, after making the wire connections, it becomes very difficult to assemble them through the required hole in the panel. The connection is already very strong and the wire on the side only complicates the task. This is possible because the assembly can be pressed through the panel. This will damage the finish a bit but if you are careful it will be hidden by the bracket. My suggestion is to rebore 3/8 KO at the end or have it remade by the manufacturer. This condition only applies to 3-inch devices. Otherwise this is a quality product and I would definitely use and recommend it again
