My elderly mother has very thin skin and injured her leg. She went to the emergency room twice for this injury. The first visit was when she first injured her lower leg. I picked her up a few weeks later when she was tearing her skin and removing the standard tape as part of her wound care after the first injury. The adhesive on the pre-made patches was so strong that my poor mother tore her skin when she pulled. It was a triangular tear about 2 inches on each side and it was heartbreaking to look at. Unfortunately, her skin is so thin that it could not be sewn together and I was very concerned that she would develop other problems. Luckily, the nurse suggested that particular brand. bandages and we've had wonderful results. My mum carries them now and I can't recommend them highly enough for someone with thin skin. They are easy to put on and remove with a little rubbing. My mother didn't come forward easily and they helped her heal.
