I was about to order two new remotes for my 2006 Hummer H3 when I saw these cases. Like almost everyone broke our loop. I put new batteries in the replacement case and simply swapped the card from the old device to the new one. I made sure that the card is firmly seated and that the buttons move freely. Plugged it back in and tested the device. Worked great. The only thing to watch out for is to make sure the small metal bar that holds the battery in place is properly attached. I had to put mine in with the tweeter, but other than that it was a quick and easy job. Saved me money, time and expense programming new remotes.
