Review on Stay Stylish and Protected: DJANGO City Slicker All-Weather Dog Jacket & Water-Repellent Raincoat with Reflective Piping by Eric Temple

Water repellent, not waterproof

I love the Django brand - my dog wears a reversible down jacket and it keeps him warm in the snow. So I had high hopes for the urban raincoat, which unfortunately didn't come true. The coat works well in a light drizzle or wet sidewalks, but here in New England, where "April rain brings mayflowers," we get a lot more. as dry. The pup and I got caught in a downpour and I thought everything was set as he was wearing a raincoat for the city. We got home and I took off my jacket only to find that after a long time in the rain (maybe 30-40 minutes) my coat was soaked! The poor pup was still wet meaning he had been out walking in the rain and had a cold wet coat clinging to him. I was disappointed and looked for this product again. Only then did I see a small hint that it was a "water-repellent" coating; I don't think it should be advertised as an "all weather coat" when it's only meant to protect against drizzle and light rain. To combat rain/shower/rain, a true waterproof coat is more appropriate.
