I have been using the BRICA Seat Guardian for about a month now for my 25 month old's very heavy Britax convertible carseat. I had noticed that whenever I had to remove the carseat to move it to my husband's vehicle or to another car, that there were very prominent indentations in the leather of my CRV and that had bothered me a lot, because I worried the leather would tear. This is a great product to provide a layer of protection between a child's protective carseat and the fabric of your vehicle. It appears very sturdy, is a breeze to install, and also prevents crumbs from embedding themselves into the seams of the leather seats. It also prevents dirty footprints on the the seat back (for a rear facing carseat). Because my car is rather small, it fit just fine but if your vehicle is any larger, it could be a little on the short side. Fortunately because of the elastic portion connecting back and the seat helps account for this. The pocket on the bottom hasn't been used in my car, but could be a place to store small toys or an extra diaper or two.
