I use this kitchen scale more than I thought. I use it to measure baking ingredients as well as baby food (I make a large batch and break it up into small containers for easy portability). I like that both the bamboo disk and the stainless steel plate can be removed for cleaning. I also often take out the stainless steel plate and use a different container for things I need to scale - you just have to hit the zero button to reset to 0. Easy to store too - I just lay them upright on a chopping board rack. . And the screen is backlit, so it's easy to see even when I'm using it in a poorly lit part of my kitchen. It can be switched between several units of measurement, not only between ounce and gram, but also fluid ounce and miniliter. I won't need them all, but I think they're a great bonus.
