Good picture but bad pans, useless presets and SLOW autofocus

I got the camera back in January 2019 and didn't set it up outside until early April 2019 due to the winter weather. The camera was purchased to monitor my property, this camera had the features advertised which I felt was quite good for the price ($149.99 as of Jan 2019). The physical installation was easy and there were no problems. The camera is very well packed in the box and protected by a seal. Instructions for setting up and using this camera are not included in the kit you will receive. You must visit the SV3C website to get these instructions and download the software required to use the camera from the SV3C website. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of. The SV3C camera software works well, it's simple and probably suitable for most users of this camera. Instead I chose to use the Blue Iris software for my camera. It offers much more functionality with this or other cameras, but it is not free software. The picture quality is acceptable, it is quite good both during the day and at night. The IR LED works well and provides decent illumination at night. I've found that the camera movement "shakes" when panning left or right, especially when trying to move the camera left or right in small increments. sometimes there is a click when panning, maybe the gears inside are torn off? Tilt movements up or down are fine, no problem. Also, the camera is sensitive to wind, the image shakes when it's windy outside, as if there's some kind of wobbling. At first I suspected the camera was loose, but upon inspection I found that the mount is really secure and tight. There is obviously too much "play" in the camera mechanism and this could explain the erratic panning I mentioned earlier. problem with this camera. Presets do NOT work correctly. After taking the time to set up 11 presets on my camera, each pointing to different locations with different zoom levels, I found that the presets worked initially, but stopped working properly after a few hours. Some presets show too high or too low or too far left or right of the expected position. The set zoom levels are sometimes ignored and the autofocus sometimes doesn't work. As an example, I go to a preset that worked yesterday, and when I go to it today, the camera is pointing at the wrong thing, wrong zoom level, and might be out of focus as well. My little experience with this camera doesn't recommend it to anyone. there are serious shortcomings.
