Review on AKRacing Office Series Opal - Ergonomic Fabric Computer Chair: 🪑 High Backrest, Recliner, Swivel, Tilt, Rocker & Height Adjustment, Black (AK-OPAL) by Rob Misra

I will definitely give the size. I'm 6ft 3cm and about 270cm tall. I needed a new desk chair for my office, am now working from home and was looking for a chair that combined the following elements: 1) Must have a high backrest 2) Should be made of fabric so my cat won't hit it with her claws ruined 3) The seat should be wide enough so I don't pinch my hips 4) Need some kind of lumbar support for my aching back. First I looked at the tank series from DXRacer. That's twice the price of this chair. Also, they didn't seem to be wearing what I wanted anymore. It only came in leather. Then I went to SecretLab to check out their Titan. It hit all the marks, but again was twice the price of that chair. I looked at other AKRacing chairs and found that although it doesn't say EX-Wide, and this chair is the same chair minus the seat. This seat is a flat seat while the EX-Wide has more hip-hugging sides. I used that knowledge to check reviews and took the plunge into this chair. I was not disappointed. I've had this chair for almost 4 months now and here I am: 1) My back pain has decreased. My chair is almost upright and a lumbar pillow helps. It takes a little getting used to, but it helps. 2) My cat didn't destroy it. We had a leather chair and she cut holes in it so she could climb on it and lie on the back of the chair. The fabric on this chair does not have this problem. 3) It seems incredibly strong. It doesn't make any noise when turning, it leaned back a couple of times with no problems, the piston holds tight. It doesn't fall at all when I sit in it. 4) It rolls pretty well. I have it on a chair mat but it rolls very easily on standard wheels. 5) The only downside I have is that the seat is not very soft, so sometimes I feel pain when I sit without moving for 3-4 hours. Not as long as I get up every 90 minutes or so to stretch a little. I have to say that I really like this chair. The price was a little high for me but that's because the last chair I bought was sold at 1/3 the price in a big cash store 20 years ago. This chair was a good chair but in terms of quality and durability it was no match for this one. I had this other chair for 13 years before I had to throw it away. By that time I had already repaired it several times and replaced many parts. I don't understand what's going on with this chair. All that matters is the metal. I look forward to many happy years with this chair.
