My new front loading dryer does not recommend the use of dryer sheets as the materials used on the sheets will eventually interfere with the proper functioning of the dryer's sensors. I use organic liquid fabric softener in my laundry so I wasn't worried about that. But I wasn't sure how to effectively eliminate static electricity in the dryer. I try to use as little plastic as possible so I didn't want to use a plastic dry bulb. I was looking for a plastic-free dryball and couldn't believe it was here! sheep wool? Sounds crazy, but these things really work. I use several at the same time when I have a large load or when I'm drying towels, for example. But it's such a great, natural way to deal with dryer static! I can control the smell with the essential oils I already buy. I made a lovely little lemon and lavender combo that I poured into a small spray bottle. That's great. I love it!
