Review on Mayhew Select 10302 5 Inch Carded by Matthew Goozmer

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Soft, warm, chisel-shaped thing

The ancient Vikings made stronger steel by burning their enemies in their forges to work iron than the steel from which this chisel is made. By simply drawing a line on a 12" paver, I beveled both corners of the bit. I then used it to trace a line with a double tap of a 2.5# hand slide clamped just below the head and the line wandered everywhere. Place. Attached image of the line on the cobblestone and the edge of the chisel after I've made all four sides of a cobblestone. I ended up using a brick chisel to make a straight line before cutting. It's metal, magnetic, and chisel-shaped, but can only be called a cold chisel if you keep it in the fridge. The price should have put me off, but the "Made in USA" label blinded me.

Pros
  • Not for use on masonry materials
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled
