Nice cheap primer and lining gun

After a bit of research and reviews I put this Herculiner spray gun in my truck's tool box. Gun: A simple, beautiful, cheap aluminum spray gun. I wouldn't want to drop it as I'm not sure how much it will ruin the shape. But it works fine. It does not come with an air fitting so you will need a 1/4 female fitting to connect the air hose to make it work. psi. That's quite a lot for a spray gun, but it has to suck in viscous material. Most household compressors shut off at around 120psi, so you might not even need a pressure regulator in that case. I've used my little 4 gallon Senco which has a wonderful recovery rate and had no problems. You need a supercharger that can deliver over 10cfm at 90psi or you're waiting for the supercharger to catch up. When assembling the gun, make sure the suction tube is pointing toward the front of the suction cup, it is factory bent, and the angle you would normally hold it at is slightly downward. You can easily change this if you level the primer up. Whatever you spray, make sure you cover everything you don't want covered by what you're spraying, including about 6 feet around your work area. The spray pattern is like a cheap spray paint, about 10-12 circle by 20-24, this is not an accurate spray at all, but remember you are spraying a goo. It works well for Herculiner and I believe it also works well for Primer as it is advertised. nominal respirator. The fumes given off when you spray something are pretty bad, and you're right about that. Don't be stupid, use a respirator. How to use: It's very simple: fill the bowl, put your head on, aim and shoot. The gun is not adjustable except for the inlet pressure that you supply from your compressor. Cleaning: It cleans very easily and I was able to clean it completely by running solvent through it a couple of times. The solvent used depends on what you are spraying. I used xylene when spraying Herculiner. Don't leave anything in the gun, you will buy a new one. I managed to completely clean the gun 3 times, it took about 2/3 gallons of xylene so it didn't take long. Overall I am happy with this pistol. I doubt I'll be using it much, bought it mainly for the toolbox as cleaning/rolling in the toolbox would be a complete back-end headache.
