We live in a 6 unit condo. 120 year old terraced house renovation, the centers are the board. The building is now mostly occupied by the owner, but until recently it was all the slum owners who didn't take care of the building. Hubs simply installed these lanterns in the basement while a single bulb hung. Everyone banged their heads against it. Builders wanted something simple, easy to install and didn't need expensive electrics, this light is perfect for our W/D. Bright, clean, efficient, simple, energy efficient, quick and easy delivery, we will definitely be buying these again.
