Not what I expected
The sheets on my standard mattress are large so I have to tighten them every time I put my daughter to bed. Which is really pointless anyway, because as soon as the weight falls on the sheets, they bunch up again. So I don't recommend it for newborns. In addition, the fabric becomes rough after one or two washes.
