These are definitely gaming ears, and quite inexpensive for their level (I wouldn’t take more than 5-5.5 thousand), with high-quality sound and 7.1 emulation, but to listen to music you definitely need to look the other way, Arctis 3 are not universals. SteelSeries does not support these ears in the GG app, explaining that Windows already has support for surround sound, but I personally struggled with setting them up (Windows sonic was not active), even wrote to SteelSeries support, but they could not help me there either. I already figured out on my own that it was the installed SteelSeries GG application that did not allow me to configure Windows sonic, so I deleted the application from the system and the settings opened. In games, these are chic ears, due to the design and ear cushions, you can sit for several hours and your head does not get tired, plus surround sound helps to determine the direction of shots and steps (PUBG, Tarkov and others).
- Great headphones from a quality brand: - they look chic (in my opinion these are the best ears in appearance), no lights, high-quality materials; - fabric ear cushions, soft and comfortable filler, ears are comfortable and not hot; - high-quality headband, the head does not press, depth adjustment with a strap; - excellent microphone quality and the ability to put it in the earpiece; - the ability to configure 7.1 (only on windows) - the presence of an adapter-extension cable (from 3.5 jack to jack for ears and a microphone separately), which makes it possible to connect both to a laptop and to a PC; - replaceable ear pads (if you are "tired" alone, you can buy a replacement); - the cable is detached from the headset itself (replacement is possible in case of damage)
- - this model is not supported by SteelSeries GG software, so you can't set up 7.1 on Mac at all (at least without crutches and dancing with tambourines), on Windows the setting is only through Windows Sonic - cord braid is not fabric (subjective opinion); - specific cable entry to the earpiece
