Review on Hamilton Beach Durathon Digital Retractable by Collin Jackson

I bought this model in September 2016. It was a very good iron for everyday office shirts. Heats up quickly. But for several days it did nothing when I plugged it in. No light, no heat, nothing. Yes, I've pulled the cord, played with the switches, etc., but nothing has helped. I tried again today. Nothing. Very disappointing iron in good condition, bought less than 2 years ago. The worst thing about this iron is that it has a 1 year warranty in the US but when I bought it in my native Canada the brochure says 5 years for Canadian purchases! What to do with it! Why such a crappy guarantee in the States? Today I bought a new Black and Decker iron. Hamilton Beach will never exist again.
