I use these on my track bike for "training" at the velodrome. A good cost-effective alternative to a narrower tire for high-pressure track performance. Not very flexible but seems very durable. I love the simplicity of the tubular tire system, which is actually very easy to install once you understand how it works and save on tubes and rim tape. I'm looking for a more flexible tuff clinch tub for racing. Not sure I would use them on the street as apartments would be more difficult to deal with. I noticed an error that could be due to "user error" - there is a slight crack or bump near the valve. I think this is because the extra piece of rubber is glued to the underside of the tire at the nipple, making that area thicker and less flexible so it doesn't sit in the tire either. I hope this is not a problem with more expensive models.
