These awesome Darn Tough Men's Element 1/4 Sock Light Cushion Socks. Made in the USA with a lifetime guarantee, you won't find better durability and quality. The 1/4 sock just covers my ankles and the light pillow is a comfortable medium padding. For me it is light enough that I can use it for everything - running, cycling, tennis, etc. But my favorite ones are made of merino wool, which is very important to me, the softest, pleasant to the touch and it breathes. unlike any other material I have found. My feet might be hot and sweaty, but merino wool wicks moisture so I can walk around all day and not feel clammy (and not too uncomfortable, but it actually helps keep my toes clean and fresh between my toes, who needs already smelly legs? ). This height is great for wearing at home when working remotely and it's a good height for summer activities. Based in Vermont, the company offers people a good job with decent pay, a lifetime warranty (who used to have one on their toe?), and great quality. A few years ago I bought two more styles of Darn Toughs which I wear to work every day and they hold up so well and are still so comfortable that I don't think I will ever buy another brand of socks again. I know it's just socks, but the extra purchase cost pays off in longevity, as well as my everyday comfort and satisfaction, thanks to the quality of the socks and the integrity of the company. These things are hard to come by, which is why I'm happy to pay a little more to maintain this quality of products and company behavior. 5 stars in every category for me!
