Everything worked according to plan. the sticks worked and we were in good shape, the bottles worked and were in good condition, and most importantly, the corks worked and were in good condition. The corks popped up, the wand and vials didn't break. If you insert the stick after inserting the stopper, make sure there is not too much product in the vial. He needs some air/space to get his wand in well. When I did it right, everything worked in my favor.
