My first impression was WoW. . . it looks cool I liked the size, much wider than most scales. Our previous digital scale was a standard size; and sometimes if you step on it incorrectly, your weight can cause it to tip over. Not suitable for the elderly whose balance is sometimes in doubt. The marble look is very cool. With our latest scale, you had to touch it with your feet to turn it on before you could step on it to check your weight. No preview step is required. My only issue with the scale was having to go online and look up reviews to figure out how to change the scale to pounds. It was set to kilograms; or something like that. A barely noticeable button on the back changes it slightly. I just wish their documentation said how to make the change.
