I got both sizes because some reviews said the regular was very small. While both are labeled XXS-XXL on the front, the back label clearly indicates that one of them is a plus. And there is one big difference. Thanks to the size loop on both sizes (meaning the straps are at their maximum unstretched length), the Plus is a full 11 inches longer than the Reg. The belt fabric is approximately 1/8" wider and the buckle is 1/4" greater. Although the regular fits, I like the extra width and sizing options of the plus. The regular one can stretch to fit a 40 inch waist like the article says but I don't think it would be comfortable. So if you're on the fence, go for the plus or try both like I did.
