Review on 🍡 Calico Critters Tea Treats Town by Adam Cornelison

A great lamp for kids and collectors who love miniatures

This elegant lamp really brings the streetscape of the Calico Critters to life. With Parisian-style lines, it pairs beautifully with the cute Calico Critters Tea and Treats table and chairs, which remind me of a French cafe. I was surprised that it has two modes - flickering or constant light. I wasn't expecting the flicker feature, that was nice. I've seen some well-known Calico Critters collectors, like Mimi on her blog My Little Sylvanian Town, have instructions for making cute little hanging flower baskets that hang from two handles. I can try it, but the lamp is also great as a solitaire. What a great addition to the recently released Calico Critters Town series, but other miniature collectors and crafters can also use them in their scenes. Height is 6 1/8 inches high and 2 1/8 inches wide. He's got a nice wide base, so he's not particularly drunk. A hazard to a small crowd, the manufacturer has wisely ensured that the battery compartment is well designed. There is a countersunk screw to keep the battery compartment closed. Small, determined fingers will not be able to open the battery compartment. I am confident of letting young children play with this but for any toddlers and preschoolers who play wild and rough I will always play under close supervision as the packaging clearly states that it is not for children under 3 years old suitable is.
