Keeps liquids fresh.
I've only used them to freeze milk (really) and soup and kept those in the fridge. So far everything is looking good. Screw caps work well and keep the milk fresh in the fridge for weeks. I haven't used them in the microwave because they don't fit, so I can't comment on that. .
