I use it every morning instead of aftershave or balm when it's not raining or cloudy. There's no need to apply this before bed, of course, if a balm makes sense. It's also great protection if I get more sun than I planned. Of course I will use a stronger sunscreen if I am outside more than usual. It is very light and comfortable on the face. Not sticky and not greasy. As soon as I apply it it seems like it's gone (unlike heavier sunscreen which I avoid unless absolutely necessary). The scent is subtle enough to be barely noticeable. So it doesn't compete with cologne etc. Great stuff I buy regularly.
