OK I'll admit I'm a bit of a coffee snob so I hear complaints about the plastic container. But listen to me! Actually I bought it out of snobbery! I love a fresh cup of coffee in a French Press. Your regular glass coffee press isn't very portable, though - pack this baby in your suitcase and you'll likely end up with broken glass everywhere. This product's plastic carafe and soft case have survived several international trips and are still in excellent condition. In addition, the sleeve keeps the coffee warm for much longer than a conventional non-insulated glass jug. Of course, these aren't pretty kitchen essentials to brighten up your countertop. But for travel it couldn't be better.
