Much nicer than a steering wheel when it's cold!

Living in Wyoming, getting into a car can be quite an adventure. Most of the year, holding the wheel is like holding an ice cube. The rest of the time it's like picking up a flaming poker. I like natural products so this sheepskin case sounded worth a try. I bought the yellow color to add brightness to the gray interior of the car. And i really like it. It was difficult to sit on the steering wheel of my Prius. I had to try several times, stretching it more each time, before I could put it on. But one day he stays where he is. I was worried it might slide while driving, but there was no issue with the steering. It covers a small portion of the display, so I have to move my head a little to see my speed, and quite a bit to see the items to the left of the speedometer (which, fortunately, I rarely look at anyway). But it is so. make a big difference in my hands. My husband and I can't understand why sheepskin doesn't feel as uncomfortably cold at 10F as a plastic steering wheel does at 10F, but it doesn't. The fur is pleasantly soft and only feels cold for a few seconds. I'm confused as to why it leaves a grainy feel on my hands - can't find anything to get rid of. But it's a minor annoyance and the lid stays in place!
