Review on Panasonic Camcorder HC V180K 5 8 Inch 2 7 Inch by John Surabhi

This is my first camcorder and I love it. I love photographing birds but they are too easy to startle before you take a picture. So I bought this camcorder with a 50x optical zoom lens. Wonderful! I can be 200 meters away and still get a decent picture and they won't fly away. I set the max zoom to 90X and still get very good pictures! I've shot a lot of mule deer and most of the time I can get as close as I want. I took the shot across the mighty Columbia River and to the top of a mountain on the other side in Washington state. at least a mile or two and I showed the object to my wife. It took her a few minutes to find it, but she was amazed that I was able to snap a photo from this distance. In other words, she could clearly see the object I was photographing and determine its location. Most camcorders have 20x optical zoom, but this one has 50x optical zoom! That's cool! This is an amazing trail camera camcorder! I'm still learning how to manually pan smoothly, but now I have a video head that pans smoothly. It cost almost as much as the camera, but it was worth it. Hoping to get into an action video at the zoo, racing or windsurfing. Have fun and you too!
