If you have Lotta camera gear and accessories, that's a good thing. Call didn't need them for years, I didn't even know they existed. After doing some research and realizing I needed something like this, I bought it and am glad I did. What I have used is to connect an external microphone to kosher. I wanted the mic to be as close to the camera as possible so I used a Dremel clipping tool and made it smaller. To my satisfaction at work as I expected. I keep it for future use. Overall, I definitely recommend this product.
