I recently bought a SONY 4K TV. I purchased a SecurOMax 6ft cable with this TV. I have since ordered another of these cables, 4 in total. I have a PIONEER receiver with HDMI pass-through, so I use these cables to connect my DISH Hopper, ROKU box and Blu-ray DVD player . to the PIONEER receiver and one of these cables from the PIONEER receiver to the SONY 4K TV. By connecting things in this way, I send the sound through my speakers connected to my PIONEER receiver (which are better than the TV's speakers.
