Just received it today and used a matte finish. It takes practice, but when applied evenly, it's perfect! I think matte shows more imperfections than gloss, but they still came out great. The color was easy to apply and didn't look cheap. You get so much in the $40 kit that it's worth it. Then it gets stuck, that's normal. Just take some rubbing alcohol (voice of Tony Baker) and wipe it off once it's cured. Oh, the cord is damn short, it doesn't reach from the floor to the table, I had to lift the surge protector. Otherwise there are no complaints. Hope it lasts!
