Review on Pansonite Gooseneck Electric Kettle: Temperature Control, Pour Over Tea Coffee Hot Water Boiler - 304 Stainless Steel, 1200W Quick Heating, 0.7 Liter, Matte Black by Holly Hernandez

Received this kettle as part of my foray into infusing coffee (disclaimer: I'm a noob). I did a little research and found that the ideal temperature range for water is 199-207ºF, so I set out to find a device that could provide this in the simplest possible way. Although not specifically mentioned in the instructions, this device has a built-in temperature sensor and the ability to set the desired water temperature. That's basically all he does, and he does it well. To use, simply press the power button (note all buttons are mostly on the glass - no physical buttons anywhere), use +/- to set the temperature, then press power again button to start. You can adjust the set temperature during heating. The device displays the set temperature and the actual temperature during and after heating. So, if you exceed the allowable value, you can monitor the temperature until it cools down to the desired value. The spout works as expected. The lid has ventilation holes to ensure unhindered flow. The carafe isn't insulated, nor is the spout, so it gets hot, but the lid and handle stay cold. In addition, the heating element is located in the pot, so that the bottom also stays cool.
