Review on Stay Dry and Adventurous with Merrell ๐Ÿฅพ OAKCREEK Waterproof Backpacking Shoes and Boots for Unisex Boys by Josh Zuvers

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Buy laces separately

These are durable lightweight boots for my active 9 year old who regularly ruins shoes. They survived the rainy season quite well and still look good (after a little wiping with a damp cloth). The only negative are the laces and holes to thread them through. The laces themselves are very, very thin, almost the size of kitchen twine. And the ends also separated very easily, making it very difficult to thread the laces through the tiny holes. Get thicker laces and they'll be great kids' boots, just as you'd expect from Merrell.

Pros
  • The Merrell OAKCREEK MID LACE WTRPF hiking shoes feature a breathable design that allows air to flow freely through the shoe, reducing perspiration and preventing odor build-up.
Cons
  • The weight of the boots may be too heavy for some users.
