Massages deeply and is much easier to apply force than a roller stick, but despite my small stature, can be quite tight and injure my lower leg. I use it upside down instead of as shown in the picture and it takes the pressure off the calf. It would be nice if it had a little guide to teach others where to use it besides legs, arms and neck, especially on the top. I know where to use it because I'm a therapist, but it's not that important for regular users. Overall I would still use it and find it easy to apply pressure and feel less tired after a massage.
