Very high quality. in my review

I haven't written a review in a long time but this product is so well made that I decided to post a review. The slip fit joint between my resonator and my muffler developed a leak. At first I was tempted to use one of the repair wraps but then I saw these clamps. I really liked the idea of using a clamp like this to make the joint solid to eliminate movement at the joint that would cause the joint to fail. The male pipe had an OD of 2 1/4" and the female pipe had a 2 1/2" OD so I chose the…

Pros
  • Good quality nice polished finished
Cons
  • Difficult to install due to tight fit

Perfect alternative to u-clamps

These clamps are the best! I recently installed a stainless steel exhaust system on my Titan that came with u-clamps. After snapping three of them in the process, I ordered a different brand of u-clamps. After torquing them down as hard as I could, the pipe still moved. So I took a chance on these band clamps. Wrenched them down as tight as tight can be with no snapping or stripping of the bolts and the pipes don’t move. Very impressed with the quality. Well worth the money.

Pros
  • Good quality retains integrity throughout the heat cycles of exhaust temperatures
Cons
  • Poor quality control with some units arriving warped

So far so good in my review

The clamps fit properly with a nice clean look no leaks we’ll see how the bolts hold up through the winter Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Unfortunately I needed another size combination, but was impressed with product.
Cons
  • Well made but size was too small for 2 inch pipe.

It's stainless steel, wear gloves

This thing worked perfectly. Couldn't get a standard clamp to hold my rusted turd mobile together. I had several cut areas where I cut the exhaust to replace my muffler and the standard clamps would allow the pipe to slip out. This this is holding it in place perfectly. Only thing to remember is that it is stainless steel. In my case i had to put a lot of pressure on it to close it and I didn't wear gloves. Couldn't feel it slipping into my skin until I wiped what i thought was oil onto my…

Pros
  • Looks great, easy to install. Have removed and reused twice with no issues.
Cons
  • Difficult to remove once installed

Works as advertised.

I used this to replace a skinny band clamp that came with the exhaust system. The skinny one wasn't sealing the joint and this one did the trick.

Pros
  • This fit perfect on 4 inch exhaust. Easy to install.
Cons
  • Inaccurate product dimensions can cause errors in fitting

One side 2 " the other 2.1 "

I don't know why it is 2 sizes, you can see the step up in the picture, I just thought it was a bump in the middle to help centering. I can't get the 2.1" side to clamp down tight enough, the pipe has torque on it and it keeps turning. It also leaks a little.

Pros
  • This has to be the best exhaust clamp ever, and the price can’t be beat!
Cons
  • Can cause engine damage if not installed correctly

Perfect fit, Good seal.

This is first time that i did a DIY exhaust work, added a resonator, the local shop want a 100$ for that job. decided to to it self. but i was a little mistrustfully about that joints, but its seals very good, i didn't used any additional sealant paste, its seals well on bare metal. Photo job in progress. Bot tighten nuts.

Pros
  • Was exactly what my husband was looking for.
Cons
  • Limited range of compatibility

Best bet for mufflers

Extremely easy to use. Took longer to get my tools under the truck than it took to install the muffler. Much better fit and seal than the standard u-bolt clamps.

Pros
  • I am running e-85 and needed to seal the exhaust to keep fumes out of the car. worked good
Cons
  • Not compatible with custom or modified parts

Way better than u-bolt clamps

Part was easy to install. Replaced a u bolt clamp that wasn't holding an exhaust joint very tight. The totalflo clamp made the joint much more solid and seemed to quiet the exhaust a bit also.

Pros
  • No issues. Worked as expected.
Cons
  • Unreliable tightness for some users

Leak free, straight, and true

I used two of these to put a muffler on my 1st gen Dodge Cummins with 4” exhaust, and they work exactly as they should. I like these so much more than u-bolt exhaust clamps because they keep everything straight and true while tightening. They also seal better. I think that I may never use u-bolt clamps again, except maybe to fasten hangers.

Pros
  • made job easier and sealed better then a standard clamp, also wl make disassemble easier if need arises
Cons
  • Can cause performance issues if not installed properly

Quality Clamp: my feedback

Quality Clamp & thick material, much thicker than the other Band Clamps I have bought (thicker gauge stainless steel).

Pros
  • Works as expected. Don't worry. Don't over think it. Just buy them.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to uninstall without causing damage

Last resort for clamp

This clamp was very difficult to install. While installing on a 3in pipe, I needed to removed the metal spacers that are shown in the pictures to get it even close.

Pros
  • Easy to install works great and looks great
Cons
  • Product fit perfect still holding after a month and no leaks!

Bolt snapped: my feedback

Might have been user error if be to many turns however one of the two bolts snapped while tightening. I was using a half inch drive ratchet.

Pros
  • They work great and you can’t beat them for the price!
Cons
  • Incompatible with certain exhaust types
