I bought this to dig a little deeper into the lint filter area in the dryer. I hire someone to do a deep cleaning every year, but when there are five of us in the house, we do a lot of laundry. It fits perfectly with my Hoover Wind Tunnel Vacuum Cleaner. I attached it, turned on the vacuum, and checked that it was sucking well. Once I put it in the lint filter, it clogged and the suction was gone. I used a wire hanger to try and unclog the clog but was unable to remove anything to improve suction, although I managed to get the hanger all the way through the nozzle. This tool can work well for getting into tight spaces with loose debris, but I wouldn't recommend using it in a dryer vent.
