Our 9 year old tucks his feet in when he leaves (we have a small hobby farm) and kicks them out when he comes back. his feet stay warm (he often goes barefoot less when he feeds his horses), which is new to him because he really doesn't like the cold! Despite all the wear and tear, they still look new and are very easy to clean with a little soap on a washcloth. We had -9*F weather with gusts of 50mph, 2ft of snow plus frozen mud puddles on the ground. Not once did he step inside because he was cold. He is 9 years old and we cannot keep him in the house. We RECOMMEND these snowshoes!
