Just Soft Rubber good for me

I have been using Spenco Polysorb Cross Trainer insoles in my running shoes for about thirty years. Two years ago, I developed Plantar Fasciitis in both feet and began trying other Spenco insoles to help treat my condition and to better support my very high arches. I tried Spenco Total Support insoles, Spenco RX insoles and most recently Spenco Polysorb Walker/Runner insoles. The RX insoles are supposed to be moldable. Out of the box, the arch support started under my heel which made my PF…

Pros
  • Very good cushioning. Adds arch support to boots, shoes and sneakers. You will not be disappointed 😌
Cons
  • May not be effective for those with severe foot pain or conditions

Prefer something else

I ordered four different types and two from Ebay, this one and the Spenco cross trainer, same company. I find these have a higher arch support than the cross trainers and I can't get used to the feel (guess my feet are flat). I prefer the cross trainers out of all four (one was Scholl I believe while another one was purchased at WalMart for like $10). You may get lucky purchasing only one or the other but because everyone's feet and preferences are different, I wanted a basis for comparison. I…

Pros
  • Wish they were a little thicker. Doesn’t provide the cushion I was looking for.
Cons
  • May not fit all shoe styles and sizes

Podiatrist recommended and not overpriced

A podiatrist co-worker recommended these, and the price was not too bad considering how much one can spend. These are meant for arch support and are not orthotics, so may not be best for you if you are having specific pain issues; check with your doctor. My only issue with them is I wore my first set for WAY too long and they had glued themselves to the interior of my shoes and completely crumbled when I tried to take them out, forcing me to spend quite some time scraping out the remains. But I…

Pros
  • Great fit and comfort
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with sensitive skin

A must have in all my shoes.

Replace factory insoles in every shoe I buy with Spencos. I have back and knee problems and they save me from alot of pain. They're cushioning in the heel and the ball of your foot. The red walk/run version is aittle larger and work well in attic shoes and boots. For shoes that don't have as much room I use Spenco crosstrainers.

Pros
  • Lightweight and breathable to keep feet cool and dry
Cons
  • May cause the foot to slide forward in the shoe

A rare fail for Spenco—not properly sized

I have used the Spenco 3/4 green orthotics forever. Last year I discovered their shoes, and the metatarsal bump changed my life. I was having a bout of plantar fasciitis complicated by metatarsalitis in the same foot, and I got a pair of the cork slides—instant relief. I got a pair of the bedroom slipper mules, then the moccasins, then three pairs of the Yumi flipflops (as a Florida beach bum, flip flops are right up there with sunscreen, and I can’t wear 90% of them). As you can see, I am a…

Pros
  • They are great!
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for long-term use

Even Better for than Spenco CrossTrainers

I have been using Spenco CrossTrainers for several years to assist with arch fatigue and perhaps some plantar fascitis. It seems that this Walker/Runner model works even better for me. The CrossTrainers are pretty much a flat, thick cushion. The Walker/Runners have a cupped heel ("heel strike pad"), which I have found very comfortable to absorb shock and give more "bounce" in the step. Also there is a little lift in the arch area for support ("countoured arch support"), which the CrossTrainers…

Pros
  • These prescribed by my doctor and awesome delivery was not as stated but am satisfied
Cons
  • May not work well for those who are overweight or prone to foot issues

Amazing your feet will thank you!

This is something I recommend to help anyone with there feet or other issues directly related due to the feet also insoles from shoes are just a joke so its up to the buyer to go the extra mile getting something better and when ever I get a new show I always buy a new insole from this brand.it feels like a glove on the foot and pain is almost wiped away really how can anyone go wrong with this brand? The insole can be cut to size though i don't have to do that, also i find this brand lasts for…

Pros
  • Work great feel great!
Cons
  • May not prevent foot fatigue or pain

Best inserts for athletic shoes

Have tried too many other inserts to count. These fit nicely, provide a cushiony feel, and don’t squeak inside the shoes. If they provided more arch support, they would be perfect.

Pros
  • Spencore heel plug provides extra cushioning and shock absorption in the heel
Cons
  • May not be worth the investment for some users
