Lower quality than expected

I compared what I received with an older version of these same inserts-the packaging was different but I figured it was more "eco friendly” because the Spenco inserts I’ve bought in the past came in plastic packaging and the new inserts arrived in a stiff paper type package. However, the new inserts are significantly less firm than those I’ve bought in the past. They are also floppy by comparison to an old set of Spenco cross trainers inserts that I’ve had in my house shoes for about 5 years…

Pros
  • Best replacement insoles I’ve ever purchased. Foot hugging comfort like no other
Cons
  • May not fit all types of shoes

Comfort is Key good for me

Makes my work boots extremely comfortable! Being on my feet all day I often have sore feet and this product has helped alíviate that a lot.

Pros
  • Can be a great option for athletes with a history of foot pain or injury
Cons
  • Can cause rubbing or irritation around the heel

These are the Best Insoles

I cannot wear most shoes without these insoles since I’ve learned how good they are, and they allow me to walk for hours longer that I normally would without the cushioning. What I like best, in addition to the great cushioning in the heel, is the thick cushioning in the forefoot, although if there is little room in the toebox of the shoe/boot, the thicker cushioning in the forefoot may cramp your toes, so I try to only buy shoes/sneakers/boots with ample room in the forefoot.

Pros
  • Great relief for flat feet or standing for long periods of time.
Cons
  • May not be breathable enough for some users

Great Insole good for me

I love these insoles for their support and comfort! I put them in my brand new Nikes every time I purchase a pair because the level of support and comfort far exceeds the insoles in a Nike. The heel is very soft and gives good arch support.

Pros
  • Works well for walking, running, and other high-impact activities
Cons
  • Can cause discomfort in the toe area

Still the Best - Excellent for Running

Update 6-3-14: To date, I have tried Spenco Cross Trainers, Total Support, RX Moldable and the Walker/Runner insoles. I ran in Cross Trainers for over thirty years and then tried the others looking for more arch support (I have very high arches) and to help treat Plantar Faciitis that I contracted almost two years ago. The total Support were OK but provided too little cushioning under the heel for running. The RX insoles were terrible, were molded incorrectly from the factory with the arch…

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • Can take up too much space in the shoe

My favorite insert in my review

I love these… They are not too thick, not too thin. Comfortable to step on all day and fit in my shoes easily. They have just the right amount of extra padding in places like the arch and heel, but relatively reasonable padding, elsewhere, and not too thick.

Pros
  • These are the best! Really made a difference!
Cons
  • Can be difficult to clean

I use these when ever I get a set of used shoes.

I wear size 15 and do not cut these or modify these in anyway when they arrive. Just put inside the shoes. When ever I get used Jordan’s from Plato’s or eBay or where ever I acquire them, I get a set of these and change out the old original insoles and these make the shoes bran new. Where your foot arches on the inside they have padding that contours with your foot for additional support. Very nice. I even recently changed out my Air Force ones soles with these and it’s turned a shoe i thought…

Pros
  • Spenco insoles with 4-way stretch fabric help prevent blisters while controlling odor
Cons
  • Can cause foot fatigue and discomfort

Highly recommended good for me

I have terrible feet and heel spurs. I've been wearing Spenco insoles for a couple decades. They'll need replaced periodically, depending on how often you're on your feet. But they're a great investment!

Pros
  • These insoles were recommended to me by my podiatrist.
Cons
  • Can cause discomfort or pain in certain areas of the foot

Helped with tendonitis

Ordered these inserts for my wife to wear while her tendonitis healed. She has continued to wear the inserts as a preventative.

Pros
  • I worked in manufacturing on concrete flooring for 30 years, these were the best insoles I could find.
Cons
  • Can be expensive compared to other options

Very Good Replacement Insoles for Athletic Shoes

Bought the Polysorb Cross Trainer Athletic insoles to replace the insoles of my Reebok walking shoes because the Reebok insoles had zero arch support. The Cross Trainer insoles do the job without changing the fit of the shoe too much. I have also used the Polysorb Walker/Runner insoles, but find that they are a little too bulky. In addition to the Polysorb Cross Trainer Athletic insoles, I would also recommend the less-expensive "10 Second Green Insoles" if you want a basic insole with arch…

Pros
  • Insoles
Cons
  • Can cause soreness or pain in the knees or hips

Perfect for me: my feedback

I have a neutral instep and tried many different inserts. This one is best for me and did not have to cut them to fit. I bought three more and have them in all my shoes.

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain
Cons
  • May not be as durable as other insole materials
