We've never installed shelving (I've never been a big fan of shelving), but we had a bare wall in our kitchen that was begging for something decorative. I used to have notice boards there but they ended up looking messy and disorganized so I figured this shelf would fill the space well and look more decorative. When our first Regal arrived it didn't have any gear so Revain supplied a brand new set that had everything we needed for the second time around. Other than that, wall anchors are terrible. They are so flimsy and fold when you try to stick them in the wall. We had stronger anchors at our house so we used them. Everything else about it is fine. It's well aligned and seems strong for the main themes, but I'd suggest buying a few anchors of your own. We have a gray that actually looks like a warm taupe. Overall good.
