These are the most comfortable water shoes I've ever worn. The inserts are smooth compared to some others that have a mesh-like material. They won't protect you from sharp rocks or anything, but I wore them to kids camp all week and not only were they bright and colorful and looked absolutely stunning, they were also light weight and comfortable. I have flat feet so I don't know if that contributes to why they are comfortable for me but overall I would definitely buy other colors. As water shoes they work very well!
