Every feature of this E1 Outdoor is amazing! There is a hidden feature that you don't know about, so I'm here to let you know. Auto tracking is a feature of this camera BUT ONLY AFTER you update the firmware to the earlier February/March 2021 update will you be able to find it. on the Reolink.com Download Center page. It is this updated firmware that adds auto-tracking capability to the Windows/Mac client and camera. The Windows/Mac client is a computer program that you use in addition to the phone app to update your camera settings and view your cameras (download it to your computer before unpacking your camera). Use the app to initially set up your internet connection as you will need to scan a barcode. After the initial camera setup, use the Windows/Mac client instead of the application to update the firmware and make configuration changes. It works much better and has all the settings available. Now go to Reolink download page and download/save the updated firmware file for E1 Outdoor to your computer. Then go back to your Windows/Mac client and in the camera settings under System/Maintenance find "Firmware update", click "Browse" and locate the saved updated file. Once your camera has been updated to the new firmware version, update a second time in the system/service settings, only this time click "Check for the latest version" in the online update. Second update complete. Then go to "Alarm on detection” in camera settings, here you can turn on auto tracking; However, I would mount it first before enabling this feature. Then set a security point and 2 other preset points. Now enable auto tracking. I hope you love this camera as much as I do!
