Was looking for an easy way to automatically turn my porch lights on at night and off during the day. I already use LED light bulbs for the obvious energy savings, but when I thought about turning the porch lights on and off, I was ready to put them out of my mind and out of my daily life. They don't just want to buy smart lightbulbs or other Alexa-enabled devices. Enter these ideal products. I bought them because the reviews were good and they came in a 2 pack. I use for my front and rear exterior lights. As stated in the instructions you will need to ensure that the actual bulb is screwed tightly into this product, but as the product has a spring loaded internal function you do not need to screw the assembly tightly into the bulb socket; You want the light sensor to face outwards and this is possible thanks to the spring loaded function; You get a good connection, but feel free to set up the sensor any way you like.
