First of all I'm pretty sure I received the returned package. A few items fell out as soon as the suitcase was opened. I didn't pay much attention to it at first until I saw that there was a completely torn black box with nothing in it. I've seen mic silencers roll freely around the body. So that was the first big clue that came out. Second, microphone clips come in transparent pouches. One clip was in a transparent case, the other was already on the microphone. The lapel mic was not attached like the other mic. It seems that someone has already tested the microphone and used a clamp for it. Left the clip when I got back. So I decided to ignore all of that and still try to see if it works properly. It works out. As for the sound quality. The sound quality is okay. It does what it's supposed to do. Attention! If you listen to sound through headphones connected directly to the receiver, you will hear a lot of noise. Once you record the video and download it to your computer, the sound quality is better than what you hear directly from the broadcaster. When I heard the audio live on the station, I was a second away from getting her back. I then uploaded the video and listened to the audio on my computer and saw a huge difference. I was able to walk about 10 feet from the receiver while looking away before the sound started to break. I could go 15-20 feet facing the receiver and the sound was good. It still picks up a lot of ambient noise. In general, I bought it on sale, the cheapest I've seen. It has been used and the sound quality is not great. I decided to leave it anyway because I need it now and can't buy a more expensive one. I'll try to work with a free audio editing program to tweak the static sound.
